Physical Therapy

Empowering physical therapists to deliver exceptional care, stronger practices, and better patient outcomes.

Physical therapists are at the heart of rehabilitation, and Chattanooga® proudly supports the profession through education, academic outreach, industry partnerships, and clinically relevant technology designed to help clinicians deliver better outcomes. Our commitment goes far beyond equipment—we work alongside clinicians, educators, and professional organizations to strengthen the physical therapy profession and prepare the next generation of physical therapists for real-world practice.

Chattanooga was built on a practitioner-first foundation, and that philosophy continues today through:

  • Evidence-based continuing education for licensed clinicians
  • Educational support for DPT and PTA programs nationwide, including hands-on student labs, virtual courses, and curriculum support
  • Partnerships with leading physical therapy organizations
  • Clinically trusted technology used in practices around the world

We also recognize that excellent clinical care depends on healthy, sustainable practices. Chattanooga helps clinics grow responsibly by integrating advanced technologies like high-intensity laser and extracorporeal shockwave therapy. From clinical training to implementation guidance and ROI tools, we help practices expand their services, attract new and past patients, and build long-term financial success.

Testimonials

Dr. Jon P. Rhodes, PT, DPT, MBA
I would describe Chattanooga as innovative and cutting edge as well as clinician-helping. … They care about what works for us as PTs. … Even some of the machines we have, they're better now because of the feedback that we've given them in the past.

- Dr. Jon P. Rhodes, PT, DPT, MBA

Dr. Sterling L. Carter, PT, DPT, MS, CSCS, CST
One of the great things about Chattanooga is that they provide an… all-in-one… concept. So, it's not just getting the product… it's getting the training, it's teaching your team how to use [the product], and then having the support even after the sale.

- Dr. Sterling L. Carter, PT, DPT, MS, CSCS, CST

Dr. Megan McDermott, PT, DPT
If someone approached me with the debate of whether to invest in these... products, I would definitely say make the jump… my patients are feeling it, they're getting better every day.

- Dr. Megan McDermott, PT, DPT

Dr. Steven Nieto, DPT, OCS, Cert. SMT
Me going with Chattanooga was largely based upon the fact that I can have a company that's going to help me start to finish integrating this product… educating us at a really great depth on the technology behind these products was huge.

- Dr. Steven Nieto, DPT, OCS, Cert. SMT

Our Partners

We are honored to support industry organizations that represent and advocate for physical therapists nationwide. These partnerships reinforce our shared commitment to patient outcomes, clinician education, and professional excellence.

Academic Outreach

Chattanooga® partners with DPT and PTA programs across the country to deliver immersive, hands-on and virtual learning experiences that prepare physical therapy students to utilize treatment technologies, like high-intensity laser therapy (HILT), extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT), and neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) in real-world settings upon graduation.

In September 2025, Chattanooga® had the opportunity to instruct DPT students at Franciscan University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on the mechanisms of action behind laser therapy and shockwave therapy. Students also learned how to properly dose and apply these advanced modalities.
In June 2025, Chattanooga® sponsored the Lower Extremity Tendinopathy: Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Professional Development Course at the University of Delaware, a program designed to advance evidence-based care for one of the most common and challenging conditions in rehabilitation and sports medicine. Developed for physical therapists and athletic trainers, the course focused on practical, clinically relevant strategies to improve outcomes across performance, return-to-play, and rehabilitation settings. The program featured hands-on workshops using Chattanooga technologies—including LightForce® laser therapy, Intelect® shockwave therapy, and neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES)—along with expert instruction from leading clinicians and researchers.
In June 2025, Chattanooga® visited the Midwestern University DPT program in Glendale, Arizona where students learned the science behind and the practical application and dosing of laser therapy and shockwave therapy.
In December 2024, Chattanooga® led a hands-on laser therapy course for the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at the University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut where students gained practical knowledge about laser therapy and its role in patient care.
